This is a brief history of Maegliin Seregon only. It will touch on crucial moments, but not attempt to go into any great depth about individual Races, which you can find throughout the other tabs.

Son' Rashiidians are believed to be the first group of people to move into the lands now occupied by Maegliin Seregon some six or seven thousands ago. This group of people soon became the monks and scribes, devoting their life to keeping the history of the lands around them.

Soon, the Tamurilians came, settling their own piece of the lands. These were a tribal people, most closely related to the Dahna Shee seen elsewhere throughout the world.

Next came the start of Te'Sorthene, though these newcomers would split within the next ten years, moving into the lands of Draconen Prime and Nargathrod as well.

The first inhabitants of Draconen Prime were blessed by the Ancient dragon, Glaurung in years to come. They took on a draconic nature that would eventually lead to their present state, unfortunately, even this was not enough to save the species when the Vampfurre's were expelled from Kasuria, flooding into their lands, and conquering them.  Despite losing most of their Draconic gifts after turning, their blood lay dormant, blended beneath the surface of their new vampiric nature.

Almost simultaneously, the history of Soleil and Artemian begins. Due to intense exaggeration, it's hard to get the facts of their origin historically accurate, so a glorified version of the story is known to all of Maegliin Seregon:

It is believed that the femme, Soleil, began as a creation of the God Apollo, in an attempt to form his own variety of Seraph. While immensely powerful, the concept wasn't widely admired by the other Olympians, who ordered her removed.  Unable to kill the creature, Apollo thought to let her live in the mortal realm.  The transfer lost the woman some of her Seraph powers, but not enough to curb the clear advantage. Upon original appearance in the mortal lands, Soleil was said to have additional sets of wings that would close up and mask themselves, as well as wielding intense telepathic and hypnotic abilities, and a fierce fire and light magic. She wandered for a while, raiding villages here and there before learning of the vampfurre infestation in Draconen Prime.  Before long, she had found her way into the Kingdom's walls in clever guise, allowing herself to be 'turned', and thus creating a new breed when her Seraph blood mixed with that of the Draconic turned vampfurres.

Artemian, as much a mystery, was said to be the response of the Gods to Soleil's continued existence in the mortal world. He first appeared a year after the first, and was said to be the creation of Apollo's own twin sister: Artemis, his namesake. Historically, the male was considered to have been made as closely as possible to the female, making him the perfect tool to destroy her. No one knows whether it was due to some additional persuasion from the female Seraph, or if the two were simply made too similarly, but within a year the two had found each other. Rather than returning her for punishment, the two became inseparable, the perfect compliments to one another who proceeded to bend the will of all around them to fit theirs.  Artemian was the second Draconian Vampyre created, and the only Draconian Vampyre in existence not created by Soleil herself. (At that time.)

The two new Draconian Vampyres spent the next few hundred years building a race, and army around them, which they used to take down each of the surrounding lands in turn.  Son'Rashiid, superstitious as they were, allied with the pair almost immediately.  After Te'Sorthene was conquered, the Tamurilians allied as well, all together taking down the remaining Demon Kingdom, and binding all five under one crown.

By the time that the couple made to attack the Legendary Sky Kingdom of Arcondelial, the Gods had grown tired.  Arcondelial buckled in the end under the pressure of the Draconians, but proved the undoing of their leaders in the process.  It was on that battle ground that the two were brutally separated from their bodies, charged to serve a sentence of 1000 years locked away in an alternate plane, before they would be reborn into more controllable bodies.
For a few hundred years, Maegliin Seregon functioned without them, trading off the crown fairly and equally between the kingdoms... but before long, they would begin to quarrel, inevitably leading to war.  During the five to six hundred years leading up to the rebirth of their leaders, Maegliin Seregon all but forgot about them.  Power hungry, even the Draconian crown fell into unworthy hands, seized by Maximillian Draconen,  who renamed the kingdom Draconen Prime.

Despite the mythological nature they had taken on, there was one young Draconian who had spent her entire life doused in the war, and held on with a passion to the hope of the Legendary Mother of their Race's return.

As promised, the pair was reborn, conveniently to one Cassandra Knight, a natural-born Draconian who had left the kingdom to act as an emissary to lands across the seas.  Inconveniently, the two were reborn as siblings, a set of twins who were destined still for great things, but also for immense pain and suffering.  By the time they were 18, They had been found by the same young Draconian that had so patiently waited for them for nearly 500 years. Layla Rajni, now Captain of the King's Guard in her Father's place, returned the pair to their rightful home, where their memories began to flood back. Within a month, they had removed the decided traitor from their throne, killed off the impure spawn within their race, and reclaimed their titles. Before long, word of their return had spread to the other kingdom's, who immediately recanted any claims on the Seregonian throne.

The lands of Maegliin Seregon remained calm for some near six hundred years before the Nargathrodian demons grew suspicious of their conquerors, attempting to regain their control of their lands once more.   War raged for a hundred years in Maegliin Seregon, all but reducing the lands to rubble before it was won, leading into the new age of rebuilding and regrouping that the Seregonians now find themselves in.

Every day, more Draconians climb from the ashes, regrouping with their clan in a foreign land.
